 a.     Passed: Sit on AARW steering committee for a trial period

                                               i.     KC – Lydia thinks it’s a good idea but make commitment more definite, make clear it’s a trial because John is very precise. Thought AARW event showed potential

                                              ii.     JK – Tom ok with decision, Lisette had more concerns but thinks a trial run is good

                                            iii.     ML – May, Laura, Terri ok with decision

                                               i.     Have 2-3 people represent

                                              ii.     Karen, Eugene, Amy, Mike are potential pool

                                          iii.     ML check with John about specifics

2.    Brunch n Munch: Oct 30

a.     Talk about Secure Committees

b.    KC talked to Gloribelle from Neighbor to Neighbor; she’s committed to 10/30

                                              i.     Also include conversation about Occupy

c.     Outreach: Facebook, listservs, (Eugene will draw up flier, Judy will distribute

d.    Food: Star, Mike, Laura, Karen committed to go; Star, Mike, Laura will make food

3.     National API Movement update

a.     Study syllabus moving along

                                               i.     First topic: Capitalism, Group of 8

1.     Many groups planning to go to  spring meeting in Chicago

b.     A lot of discussion about Occupy movement is happening

4.     API Movement Doing more

a.     Too early to make overall decision to do more

b.     Hold Membership meeting in early November
